|
Cribriform-morular variant of papillary carcinoma of thyroid (CMV of PTC) is very rare tumor and is usually associated with familial adenomatous polyposis, but may be sporadic. Pathologic finding is peculiar showing cribriform, papillary, solid and follicular arrangement of tumor cells and morular structure. The behavior of this tumor is similar to that of conventional papillary carcinoma, so differentiation from another aggressive carcinoma types is needed. We report a case of CMV of PTC in 42 female patient without familial adenomatous polyposis and family history.
